Our fourth annual exhibition highlights work that explores themes of identity and politics; intimacy and isolation; body and autonomy. Through jewelry, tableware, and objects, artists manifest the intangible—giving voice and form to the liminal spaces of dreams, feelings, and atmosphere. Dream Machine facilitates conversations between works that wouldn't otherwise interact, illuminating connections across the entire field and our community at large. With artists from 10 states and 8 countries, their work lies in bed together; all on the same plane without hierarchy, giving each voice equal weight and value. Each year, Dream Machine presents the work of makers from all backgrounds representing a snapshot of the variety present in our field. These works come together to reflect distinct and connected experiences, allowing for hope, anticipation, and anxiety.
