Dream Machine 2025

Dream Machine is an annual juried exhibition during NYC Jewelry Week featuring works that explore identity and studio practice by artists at all stages of their career. Through jewelry, tableware, and objects, artists give voice and form to the liminal spaces of dreams, feelings, and atmosphere; spaces and states that are neither here nor there. Allowing for hope, anticipation, and anxiety, Dream Machine brings these works together to reflect distinct and connected experiences. 

We are thrilled to be seeking submissions for our 2025 exhibition at UrbanGlass that explore themes of identity, autonomy, and individuality. Dream Machine prides itself in highlighting new work in the field, and encourages both emerging and established artists to apply.  

Important Dates:

  • Call for Entry Opens: 9/1/2025

  • Application Deadline: 9/30/2025

  • Notification: 10/15/2025

  • Work Due to Gallery: 11/1 to 11/15/2025

  • Exhibition on View: 11/18 to 11/22/2025

  • Any work not sold will be shipped back by 12/1/2025

Please only apply with work that will be available for the duration of the loan dates from 11/1/2025 to 12/1/2025.  Please also note, if your work is accepted you will need to provide a return shipping label when you send the work!

What you need for this application:

  • 250 word artist statement

  • 5 images of your work - 1MB max per image

  • Application fee paid via PayPal* (We are now accepting applications on a sliding scale from $10-30 to make this more accessible for all applicants. Please pay what you can.)

*To be considered for Dream Machine 2025, please submit a sliding scale payment of $10 to $30 via PayPal to dreammachineexhibition@gmail.com.  Include your name, and please select "for friends and family" when submitting your payment.
